George Ross Spinney

George was born on November 6th, 1883 in Upper L'Etang, New Brunswick. George's father was James Van Buren Spinney and his mother was Rebecca Carver. His paternal grandparents were James S. Spinney and Martha (Anne) Lowe; his maternal grandparents are William Carver and Susan Cox. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, James, John, Harold, Annie, Susan, Letitia, Katherine and Ellen. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 76 on September 14th, 1960 in St. John, New Brunswick.
