Martha L. Shapleigh

Martha was born in January 1898. Martha's father was William A. Shapleigh and her mother was Marcia Melinda Spinney. Her maternal grandparents were Hamilton Spinney and Rebecca Tetherly. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Roscoe, Harry, Henry, Earl, Nellie, Lettie, Bessie and Florence. She was the eighth oldest of the nine children. She died at 9 months old on October 16th, 1898.
