Joseph Lane

Joseph was born on March 9th, 1769. Joseph's father was Maj John Lane and his mother was Hannah Dow. His paternal grandparents are Deacon Joshua Lane and Bathsheba Robie; his maternal grandparents were Deacon Samuel Dow and Mary Page. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, John, Joshua, David, Mary, Hannah and Comfort. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 44 in 1813.
