Sewell Dow

Sewell was born on December 9th, 1790. Sewell's father was Benjamin Dow and his mother was Tabitha Blake. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Dow and Elizabeth Batchelder. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Nathan, John, Benjamin, Polly, Myra, Tabitha, Eliza, Sarah, Lydia, Lucy and Abigail. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 83 in 1873.

General Notes
- Sewell never married. He lived on the homestead and cared for two of his sisters. His farm was assessed at $3,000 in 1850.
