Orchard C. Dow

Orchard was born on November 24th, 1806. Orchard's father was Nathan Dow and his mother was Betsey Prible. His paternal grandfather was Noah Dow and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Palmer. He had three brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Nathan, Noah, Jefferson, Dow, Dow, Dow and Ephraim. He died at the age of 87 on June 28th, 1894.

General Notes
- His genealogical letter, written at the age of 75, was firm and in old-fashioned copper plate style and legible as print. A local history says that the father of Orchard Dow took his whole family for a short trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and suddenly died there. Robert P. Dow was unable to reconcile this story.
