John Edwin Dow

John was born on October 26th, 1825 in Sanford, York County, Maine. John's father was Dr John Dow and his mother was Mary Morrill. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Dow and Tabitha Blake; his maternal grandparents are Hon Nahum Morrill and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Nahum, Benjamin, James, William, Mary, Sarah and Martha. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died after 1881.
