Lela Banes

Lela was born in 1885 in Goodland, Indiana. Lela's father was William Banes and her mother was Aurelia Isabelle Spinney. Her paternal grandparents are William Banes and Betsy Mills; her maternal grandfather was Arthur Jones Spinney Sr and her maternal grandmother is Susanna Boyd. She had a brother and two sisters, named Rexford, Myrtle and Bethel. She was the third oldest of the four children.
