Bethel Banes

Bethel was born in 1887 in Goodland, Indiana. Bethel's father was William Banes and her mother was Aurelia Isabelle Spinney. Her paternal grandparents are William Banes and Betsy Mills; her maternal grandfather was Arthur Jones Spinney Sr and her maternal grandmother is Susanna Boyd. She had a brother and two sisters, named Rexford, Myrtle and Lela. She was the youngest of the four children.
