Lucius Gammon

Lucius was born on February 5th, 1871 in Leon, Decatur, Iowa, United States.¹ Lucius' father was James Wilkenson Gammon and his mother was Armilda Eliza Myers. His paternal grandparents were Dozier Brawner Gammon and Lavina Letitia Turbeville; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Myers and Jane. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Lewis Larue, Newton Franklin, Eugene Theophilus, Bird Lafayette, Willis Wilkerson, Dozier Gaines, Charles Thomas, Lydia Josephine, Martha Jane and Catharine Melvina. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 23 in 1894 in Omaha, Douglas, Nebraska, United States.
