Robert was born in 1725 in Elton, Nottinghamshire, , England and his baptism took place on June 15th, 1725 in Elton, Nottingham, England.  Robert's father was Jonathan BURROWS and his mother was Ann WARRINER.  His paternal grandparents were Richard BURROWS and Elizabeth BAULDOR. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Richard, William, Elizabeth and Mary.  He was the fifth oldest of the six children.  His burial was on June 19th, 1751.
