John Laing

John was born in 1870 in Burghead. John's father was William Laing and his mother was Elspet McHardy. His paternal grandparents were John Laing and Elspet Cobban. He had a brother and two sisters, named James, Elspet and Jessie. He was the second oldest of the four children.
