Georgina was born in 1879 in Simmering, Austria. Georgina's father was George David Dobbie Forbes and her mother was Mary Jane Cuthbert.  Her paternal grandparents were David Forbes and Mary Dobbie. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Charles, William, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, Belle and <Unknown>.  She died at the age of 46 in 1925 in St Andrew, Dundee, Scotland.
