Ellu was born in 1755. Ellu's father was Pärt and her mother was Els. Her paternal grandfather is Hindrik. She had a brother and a sister, named Toots and Leenu. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Peep, Henno, Ado, Hans, Epp, Mai and Ädu. She died at the age of 39 in 1794.
