László was born in August 1765 in Feled and his baptism took place in dubovec. László's father was Sándor Vécsey and his mother was Apollónia Plettrich.  His paternal grandparents were József Vécsey and Krisztina Tarródy. He had a brother and a sister, named Imre and Barbara.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 66 on May 3rd, 1832 in Feled.
