Jusztina's father was Miklós Kosa and her mother was Erzsébet Tatár. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Albert, Sándor, Miklós, Miklós, Dániel, Gábor, Károly, Franciska, Julianna, Zsuzsanna and Kossa.  She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.
