Gothard Thirring

Gothard was born on August 2nd, 1685 in Sopron.¹   Gothard's father was Mátyás Thirring and his mother was Mária Bauhofer.  His paternal grandparents were Hans Georg Düringer and Margaréta. He had six brothers and two sisters, named János, Mátyás, Mihály, Otto, Gotthárd, Mihály, Mária and Anna.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 1 on September 6th, 1686.
