János was born on December 27th, 1791 in Asguth.¹

János' father was Sándor 1790-95 Körtvélyessy and his mother was Zsuzsanna Zimmerman.  His paternal grandparents were János 1773 Körtvélyessy and Erzsébet Kükemezey. He had two brothers and a sister, named István, István and Anna.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 70 on November 2nd, 1862 in Asguth.  The funeral took place in Komlós.  He was buried in Asguth.¹
