István Körtvélyessy

István was born on December 3rd, 1839 in Hajdudorog.  István's father was Mihály Körtvélyessy and his mother was Julianna Orosz.  His paternal grandparents were Mihály Körtvélyessy and Katalin Juhász. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Antal, Márta, Mihály, Julianna, Anna, Márta, Mária, Mária and Teréz.  He was the oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 29 on March 15th, 1869 in Hajdudorog.
