Borbála Körtvélyessy

Borbála was born in August 1887 in Mád and her baptism took place there on August 19th, 1887.¹   Borbála's father was József Körtvélyesi and her mother was Mária Bózsi.  Her paternal grandparents were Pál Körtvélyessi and Borbála Pisák. She had a brother and five sisters, named József, Borbála, Piroska, Rozália, Rozália and Margit.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.
