József Körtvélyesi

József was born in February 1793 in Bakonszeg and his baptism took place there on February 17th, 1793.¹   József's father was Sámuel Körtvélyesi and his mother was Erzsébet Szücs.  His paternal grandparents were András Körtvélyesi and Katalin Domján. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Ferenc, Ferenc, Rebeka, Sára and Mária. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named István, István, János and Julianna.
