János Körtvélyesi

János was born in August 1843 in Bakonszeg and his baptism took place there on August 19th, 1843.^1 2   János' father was János Körtvélyesi and his mother was Sára Veres.  His paternal grandparents were István Körtvélyesi and Mária Kurtán. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Imre, László, Rebeka, Erzsébet, Mária and Sára.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 26 on June 16th, 1870 in Bakonszeg.³
