István Körtvélyesi

István was born in August 1836 in Bakonszeg and his baptism took place there on August 8th, 1836.^1 2

István's father was István Körtvélyesi and his mother was Mária Szilágyi.  His paternal grandparents were István Körtvélyesi and Mária Kurtán. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Gábor, Gábor, Julianna, Mária and Rebeka.  He was the third youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 90 on December 2nd, 1926 in Bakonszeg.³
