Bálint Körtvélyesi

Bálint was born on February 14th, 1852 in Sáp and his baptism took place there on February 20th, 1852.^1 2

Bálint's father was József Körtvélyesi and his mother was Rebeka Ritók.  His paternal grandparents were András Körtvélyesi and Sára Kurtán. He had three brothers and a sister, named József, András, Mihály and Erzsébet.  He was the youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Lajos, Mária and Sára.  He died at the age of 72 on August 22nd, 1924 in Sáp.³
