András Körtvélyesi

András was born on March 22nd, 1813 in Balozsameggyes Vas vm and his baptism took place in Egyházszeg.¹

András' father was József Körtvélyes and his mother was Julianna Nagy (Berkes).  His paternal grandparents were Mihály Körtvélyes and Erzsébet Tóth. He had five brothers and a sister, named György, János, József, Rozália, Mihály and Anna.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 40 on April 18th, 1853 in Rum, Vas vm.²
