Szófia Körtvélyes 
Szófia was born on December 1st, 1845 in Egyházszeg.1 Szófia's father was Mihály Körtvélyes and her mother was Magdolna Karovits. Her paternal grandparents were József Körtvélyes and Julianna Nagy (Berkes). She had two brothers named Mihály and János. She was the oldest of the three children.
