Imre was born on September 24th, 1740 in Sitke.1  Imre's father was Ferenc Nagy and his mother was Borbála Niczky.  His paternal grandparents were István Nagy and Rebeka  Tompa. He had three brothers and two sisters, named György, Imre, László, Ágnes and Anna.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died at just 15 days old on October 9th, 1740 in Sitke.1
