Michael was born on September 26th, 1815.  Michael's father was George Siman and his mother was Helena Terek.  His paternal grandfather was Mathew Siman and his paternal grandmother is Dorothea Galik. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Andrew, George, Jan, Maria and Anna.  He was the oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers named Sebefranius and Mathew.
