Ruth STATON

Ruth was born in 1842 in Eckington, Derbyshire, UK.¹ Ruth's father was Mark STATON and her mother is Sarah STATON. Her paternal grandfather was Nathan STATON and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth HOULT; her maternal grandparents are Henry STATON and Mary MALLENDER. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Elijah, Albine, Enos, Alexandra, Miriam, Zellah, Lilian and Ada Ann. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 59 in 1901.
