Albine was born in 1848 in Eckington, Derbyshire, UK.1   Albine's father was Mark STATON and his mother is Sarah STATON.  His paternal grandfather was Nathan STATON and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth HOULT; his maternal grandparents are Henry STATON and Mary MALLENDER. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Elijah, Enos, Alexandra, Ruth, Miriam, Zellah, Lilian and Ada Ann.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 42 in 1890 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, UK.
