Frank was born on March 1st, 1888 in Salford, Lancashire, UK.  Frank's father was James MARSLAND and his mother was Mary Emma OLDFIELD.  His paternal grandfather was John MARSLAND and his paternal grandmother is Jane A BRADSHAW. He had two brothers and a sister, named Walter, John and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 72 in 1960.
