Ecaterina's christening was conducted by priest .  Ecaterina's father was Popescu and her mother was Veta Popescu.  Her maternal grandparents were Dumitru Manciulescu and Ana Manciulescu. She had a brother and two sisters, named Costica, Marioara and Anisoara.  She died due to natural causes or old age.
