Marcolina was born in 1882.  Marcolina's father was General Felipe Martinez Luz and her mother is Maria del Rosario Borrego.  Her paternal grandparents are Jose Antonio Martinez and Rosario Luz. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Felipe, Angel, Felix Ramon, Narcisa, Rosa, Silvina, Ines Maria and Francisca. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Pedro Modesto, Felipe, Cleto, Maria and Petra.  She died at the age of 44 on April 30th, 1926.
