Pazifico Thomas was born on December 24th, 1727 in Azpeitia, Guipuzcoa, España.  Pazifico Thomas' father was Joseph Berroeta and his mother is Maria Francisca Torres Texada. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Manuel Joseph Francisco, Miguel Ygnacio, Feliz Antonio Ygnacio Jazinto, Juachin Pablo, Joaquina Francisca, Maria Josepha and Josepha Francisca.  He is the youngest of the eight children.
