Josepha Francisca was born on February 22nd, 1718 in Azpeitia, Guipuzcoa, España.  Josepha Francisca's father was Joseph Berroeta and her mother is Maria Francisca Torres Texada. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Manuel Joseph Francisco, Miguel Ygnacio, Feliz Antonio Ygnacio Jazinto, Juachin Pablo, Pazifico Thomas, Joaquina Francisca and Maria Josepha.  She is the sixth oldest of the eight children.
