Oman Skidmore

Oman was born on February 1st, 1865 in New Canaan, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Oman's father was George Skidmore and her mother was Mary Gilbert. Her paternal grandparents were George Skidmore and Rebecca Eagles. She had a brother and eleven sisters, named David Edward, Amelia, Frances Ann, Mary Jane, Cecilia, Susan Ada, Rosamond, Margaret Mae, Lavina, Ellen, Angelina and Nettie. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. She died about 1925.
