Esther Holcomb

Esther was born on January 25th, 1717 in Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut, USA.¹ Esther's father was Jonathan Holcombe and her mother was Anna Anne Ann Pettibone. Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Holcombe and Mary Bliss; her maternal grandparents were John Pettibone and Sarah Eggleston. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named John, Asahel, Moses, Seaver, Benjamin, Ann, Dinah, Ruth, Damaris, Sarah, Martha and Miriam. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Persis, Jonathan, Deacon Azariah, Azariah, Jacob, Elizabeth, Mercy and Marcey. She died at the age of 57 on June 28th, 1774 in Simsbury, Hartford, Connecticut, USA.¹
