Eleanor Higgs

Eleanor was born on May 19th, 1854 in River Phillip, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Eleanor's father was Edward Higgs and her mother was Annie Jane Schurman. Her paternal grandparents were John Higgs and Ellenor Cove; her maternal grandparents are John Schurman and Hannah Metcalf. She had four brothers and six sisters, named John W., Joseph, Thomas, William C., Sarah Jane, Elizabeth Cove, Priscilla, Mary Augusta, Caroline and Emma. She died at the age of 59 in June 1913.
