John L. Grant

John L. was born on October 14th, 1826.¹ John L.'s father was John Grant and his mother was Phoebe Chase Miller. His paternal grandparents were Peter Grant and Abigail Lockwood. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named David Lawrence, Epenetus, Peter, Allen, Nathan, Peter, William, Almira, Elizabeth, Ireny, Absolom and Jane. He was the eighth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 30 on July 13th, 1857.¹
