Almira Grant

Almira was born on November 13th, 1819.¹ Almira's father was John Grant and her mother was Phoebe Chase Miller. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Grant and Abigail Lockwood. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named David Lawrence, Epenetus, Peter, Allen, John L., Nathan, Peter, William, Elizabeth, Ireny, Absolom and Jane. She was the third oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 100 in 1919.
