Amicia was born in 1238 in Kingsley, Cheshire, England.1   Amicia's father was Richard Lord of Kingsley and her mother was Joan De Sylvester.  Her paternal grandparents were Ranulph Lord Of Kingsley and Matilda Moston; her maternal grandfather was Alexander De Sylvester. She had two sisters named Emma Heiress of and Joan De.  She was the youngest of the three children.1
