Katherine was born about 1304 in Ashford, Hertfordshire, England.1   Katherine's father was William De Grandson and her mother was Blanche De Savoie. She had a brother and a sister, named Othe and Agnes.  She was the youngest of the three children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Piers and Mabel.  She died on November 23rd, 1349 in Bisham, Berkshire, England.1
