Mary Hannah Petty

Mary Hannah was born in 1871 in Heaton, Yorkshire, England.¹ Mary Hannah's father was James Petty and her mother was Nancy Newell. Her paternal grandparents were George Petty and Hannah Brewer. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Arthur Sidney, Matthew William, George H, Annie Priscilla, Alice Ann, Sarah L., Eliza and Julia. She was the second oldest of the nine children.
