Alice Ann Petty

Alice Ann was born in 1878 in Allerton, Yorkshire, England.¹ Alice Ann's father was James Petty and her mother was Nancy Newell. Her paternal grandparents were George Petty and Hannah Brewer. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Arthur Sidney, Matthew William, George H, Mary Hannah, Annie Priscilla, Sarah L., Eliza and Julia. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
