Clarence Charles was born on June 22nd, 1901.  Clarence Charles' father was Christian Charles Brown and his mother was Emma Brown/ Kappler.  His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Brown and Mary Hertzig; his maternal grandparents were Solomon Kappeler and Anna Trachsel/ Kappeler. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John (TWIN) Walter, Walter Jesse, Robert Earl, Lena Mary, Amelia  (TWIN) Erma and Florence Wilma.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 18 on December 21st, 1919.
