Tom was born on November 8th, 1952.  Tom's father was Jerry Roman and his mother is Betty Jan Winske.  His maternal grandparents were Arthur Winske and Irene Stiebs. He has a brother and three sisters, named Steven, Debra, Teresa and Michell.  He is the oldest of the five children.
