Mary was born in 1832.1   Mary's father is William Mactier and her mother is Jane Blain.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 87 on September 24th, 1919 in Malvern, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.1 



Mary's family with Lachlan McLennan

‌Mary and Lachlan were married in a religious ceremony in 1856.  They had five sons and three daughters, named James, William, Alexander, Christopher, John, Catherine, Mary and Margaret.
