Josefina was born on September 7th, 1881 in Kamenice.  Josefina's father was Emanuel Josef Ringhoffer and her mother was Bedøiška Klein von Wisenberg.  Her paternal grandparents were František Ringhoffer and Josefina Schallowetz; her maternal grandparents are František Klein von Wisenberg and Leopoldine Hauptmann. She had two brothers and a sister, named Bedøich František, Felix Emanuel and Leopoldina "Ina".  She was the second oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 40 on June 21st, 1922 in Praha.
