Václav Jiøí was born on September 21st, 1892 in Praha-Vinohrady.  Václav Jiøí's father was Bohuslav Bedøich Rieger and his mother was Marie Èervinková.  His paternal grandparents were František Ladislav Rieger and Marie Aloisie Palacká. He had two brothers named Ladislav Ratibor and Bohuslav František Xaver.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 22 on April 16th, 1915 in Praha.
