Zdenìk Karel's father was Jan Petr Dobrzenský z Dobrzenicz and his mother was Eleonora Marie Bøeznická z Náchoda.  His paternal grandparents were Jindøich V. "Rozkoš Èáp" Dobrzenský z Dobrzenicz and Kateøina Karolina Svárova, ze; his maternal grandfather was Bohuslav Jaroslav Bøeznický z Náchoda and his maternal grandmother is Marie Eva PØEDBOØSKÁ Z PØEDBOØE. He had two brothers and a sister, named Bohuchval Jaroslav, Jiøí Bedøich and Marie Apolena. He had two half-sisters named Kateøina and Leonora.  He died in 1690.
