Petr IV. was born in 1551.  Petr IV.'s father was Jan IX. Dobrzenský z Dobrzenicz and his mother is Magdalena Chvalkovská z Hustíøan.  His paternal grandfather was Petr II. Dobrzenský z Dobrzenicz. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Jiøík starší "Václav", Mikuláš V., Anna and Kateøina.  He died at the age of 63 in 1614.  He was buried in Zbraslavice.
